The farmer’s market is always beautiful and right now, in July, it’s especially colorful. I took these pictures the last two weekends at farmer’s market, delighting in all there was to see. We tried white currants and jostaberries for the first time. We all prefer the taste of the red and black currants to the white, but we’d like to plant a jostaberry bush in our garden now, they are quite tasty. I love trying new-to-me foods and am always curious about the things at farmer’s market that aren’t familiar to me.
At the farmer’s market, I love to smell the fresh lavender when we walk by. I love the dried peppers hanging and the berries everywhere. (I notice I use the word love a lot when I write about the farmer’s market.) We’ve been adding that delicious bee pollen to our smoothies, eating lots of cucumbers, and sweet crunchy carrots. We can never get enough cauliflower, it’s so good, and we are savoring all the fresh fruit right now. Plums! Grapes! And berries, berries, and more berries. July farmer’s market is so good! What are you loving from your local farmer’s market these days?

Your photos of the market are beautiful! I love all the colors of the produce and flowers. If you haven’t already you should frame your favorites.
