Last Sunday I came home from market with a tree. I checked them out on the way into town and then decided to pick one up on my way back. The trees were all frozen and we had quite the puddle in the back of our car by the time I arrived home, but I was so happy to bring a tree back for Bracken and Jeff. Last year we got our tree up so much earlier in the month, but I’m just glad we got one up. A frozen tree was a first for me, very memorable! The ice has all melted in town now, much to the disappointment of one child I know (and probably more), but I think most people in town were glad to see it go with all the mayhem (falling trees, power outages) it brought along with it.
I wanted to pop by here and leave a quick note. We’ve been having issues with our internet at home. Jeff has jumped through so many hoops to fix it and now it looks like it won’t be fixed until next week. I’m writing this from the airport, as we wait to pick up my mom (yay!), so will say hello in this space again next week. Until then… Happy Holidays to you all! Wishing you love and peace in your homes and hearts. I’m so grateful you visit this space and I hope you know how much it means to me.
