A new friend had a baby shower over the weekend. She knew she was having a girl and I knit her a pair of baby booties. I couldn’t help myself but knit another pair of these booties (I’ve knit this pattern many times) because they are so adorable that I can’t resist. (They are so teensy and cute they can fit in one hand!) My favorite part about making them is picking out the buttons. I chose black walnut buttons this time. I made another pair in this pretty lilac purple color before and chose black walnut buttons for them as well. I guess I just love lilac and black walnut together.

P.S. When I was taking pictures of my pretty gauge swatch, and Bracken added little white daisies to the picture, I had to get some button and daisy pictures too. Who knew buttons & daisies went so well together?
