{G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitude.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…A good night sleep. Nothing like a good night sleep to make you feel renewed when you start your day! When I stay up too late and wake up tired the next day I remind myself how important sleep is.
.
…Listening to a talk about the liver and gallbladder. I found it so fascinating, the body is truly amazing and I love learning about how it works.
.
…Jeff getting so many seeds planted and making the garden look beautiful. And Bracken soaking up every moment he gets out there with his dad.
.
…Being ridiculously silly and making Bracken laugh like crazy. I absolutely love when I can make him laugh like that. I’m grateful to all the people in my life who are goofy and who make me laugh because they bring out my silly side and lighten me up when I feel too bogged down by seriousness.
.
…Plans going awry, and a day feeling so crazy and off, turning into an opportunity to connect with a friend. Timing seemed to align perfectly for us (and finally something that day fell into place) and the crazy day we were both having was made more fun with some time to enjoy it together.
.
…Having more compassion towards others when we understand where they are coming from.
.
…Jeff helping me figure out some confusing details so we could get an application sent in for a festival. (After going through some hoops to get clarity it turned out multiple business licenses were required rather than the single one we’ve gotten in the past.)Whew. I was so relieved when we got it mailed out.
.
…Bracken and I working on sewing projects side by side, (while I ignored all the other things I thought I should be getting done.) He was making a toy and I was mending a shirt that had been waiting for far too long. We had such a nice time together, and I want to do that more often.
.
…Talking to a friend I hadn’t spoken to in a long time. And then Bracken having a hilarious conversation with her where they thought of the silliest names they could think of for his pet snails.
.
…Our booth neighbor playing some Aretha Franklin at the market yesterday. It was an unexpected rainy and cold morning, and that wonderful music helped lift my spirits and make the morning better. I also realized I need more Aretha in my life!
