{G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitude.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Happy daisies. I love them.
.
…The library ordering two new cookbooks because I requested them. They’re constantly bringing in books from other libraries too, and I appreciate that so much. I read chapter books to Bracken before bed every night and we’ve been going through quite a few of them lately.
.
…Finding a bag of strawberries in the freezer that I had forgotten about, just when I was making something with strawberries and thought we were all out. We’ve been eating them up because it’s strawberry season again and time to put more in the freezer.
.
…Bracken’s first time reacting to poison oak being very mild. He had been romping around a creek in the woods with his friends and I was glad he didn’t get it too bad.
.
…Bringing all my laundry outdoors to fold and thinking of every chore I wanted to accomplish that day and how it could be done outside so I could enjoy the beautiful day as long as possible.
.
…Choosing health and honoring my body when it doesn’t like a certain food.
.
…My friend sharing her method of organizing her e-mails into folders, and then giving it a try. I had a few favorite newsletters that I still wanted to be subscribed to (the rest I unsubscribed from to reduce the daily e-mails in my inbox.) I put those in a separate folder from my personal e-mails (so I can get to those articles when I get the chance, instead of having them clutter up my inbox) and it’s made a huge difference in making my inbox more manageable. It’s amazing how such little changes can make such a big difference!
.
…The clock in our car being wrong and ending up arriving early for an appointment. We had left the house in what I thought was plenty of time and then as soon as we saw the clock in the car we were worried we would be late. What a relief to be early instead.
.
…Being able to hear Jeff and Bracken out the window while Jeff was working in the garden and Bracken was in the chicken coop talking to the chickens (he adores his chickens.) Those happy sounds made me smile.
.
…Sunshine and summer! We want to soak up every moment of it.

Rick used to have goats and said that if you drink the milk of goats that eat poison oak it builds an immunity to poison oak. Just a thought. Excited to hear that you’re organizing your inbox 🙂 Love organizing!!!
