{G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitude.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The beautiful lavender all covered in bees and butterflies, at my dad and stepmom’s place. It was a great spot for cousins to catch butterflies together (and some chicken feathers were found there, to add to the nature treasures from the weekend.)
.
…The feeling of the cool earth under my bare feet. I love that feeling.
.
…Smelling essential oils throughout the day. It’s such a simple thing to do, and yet such a kind act towards myself because of how good it makes me feel… calmer, more relaxed, and uplifted.
.
…An inspiration for the banana bread recipe I had been working on, and that wonderful feeling of it all coming together. (I’m looking forward to sharing the recipe here.)
.
…Giving eggs to our neighbor when we were overflowing with them. We were so glad she needed some because we were having a hard time keeping up.
.
…Bracken making his very own muffins with blackberries he picked in the yard. He asked for a few ingredients, mixed it all together, and then I stuck them in the oven. He thought they turned out okay, and had some ideas for his next batch, but was proud he made them on his own.
.
…Jeff making a sun tea with hibiscus. It was so beautiful Bracken said it made him think of rubies and he called it our ruby drink.
.
…Fans and frozen pops to cool us down on hot days. Thank goodness for those!
.
…Changing our hotel plans at the last minute to find that the place we wanted to stay had one room left. We were so glad!
.
…The opportunity to write this before heading back over to the the fair. Off we go!

Hi Taryn, It was so great to meet you and your sweet family yesterday. You are just as gracious as I had pictured you would be! We are attending a family reunion today and I’m wearing my new lavender infused chicken earrings. Love them!
