These were some custom buttons Jeff created for a local button society. I’ve been wanting to show them to you and spring is the perfect time to finally share these pictures. He painted them with wood dyes, they reminded us of stained glass windows. Before I’m asked- we cannot replicate these for anyone else. I simply wanted to share them because I love the variety of Jeff’s custom work.
There’s been some major spring cleaning happening around here and I’ve felt like doing some in our online shop as well. I’m excited about the beautiful things I’ve been photographing to post in the shop and want to clear out the things that have been in the shop for awhile, to make room for everything fresh and new. All listings that have SALE in the title have already been marked down (most buttons in the shop are on sale) and we’ve decided to offer an additional 10% off all items in the shop when you use the coupon code: SPRING10 at checkout. (Coupon code will be good through April 14th.) We’re also having a giveaway. This time, rather than host the giveaway on my blog like we normally do, we’re having a giveaway over on our Instagram page for the first time. Head on over if you’d like to enter to win a $45 gift certificate to spend in the shop!
[Edited to add: some of you said you didn’t have an Instagram account and couldn’t enter. We want for everyone to feel included, so Jeff and I have decided to have two separate giveaways- one on Instagram, and one on the blog. Feel free to leave a comment on this blog post to enter to win a $45 gift certificate to use in the shop!]
The giveaway winner is Jen who wrote: “Hi. If it’s not too late, please enter me in the drawing. Beautiful work you two do.” Congrats Jen! And thanks to everyone who entered.

Happy spring! I loved the custom buttons, immediately made me think of the stained glass windows in the castle of Beauty and the Beast. Would love to see that as a pin. Thanks for sharing!
