I’ve been meaning to tell you about a new knitting pattern by Beatrice, called the Baler Cardigan. (Yes, those are some WoolyMossRoots Buttons on there!) I got to take a peek in the spring issue of Knit.Purl. magazine. This is the second time we’ve had the pleasure of seeing our buttons on one of Beatrice’s cardigans in that magazine and it’s always exciting. Thanks Beatrice!

I always love your writings & find myself smiling after I read it!! In some future writings, please share what kinds of foods you pack for trips, market day, etc. I am vegetarian & have some picky eating grandchildren. Your ideas might help me. Also, how do you prepare the nettles? I am in GA & wish I were closer to you. Thanks for sharing your life. Mary Ann

Thanks Mary Ann! I’m so glad what I share here brings you a smile regularly. And thanks for the request- I’ve been wanting to do more food posts. I will plan to do a post about food we pack. Oh, and to prepare the nettles. We juice them regularly, put them in soup, or we steam them. You can also sautee them in oil. Lots of good ways to make them! Just want to cook them thoroughly so they won’t sting anymore. 🙂
