{ G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition.
A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…The little carrot we were all delighted to find in the garden. It was small and a bit funny looking, but we didn’t know there was a carrot out there to harvest and it was a nice orange surprise on that sunny day.
.
…Letting the schedule and plans go because sometimes when you are enjoying the moment so fully, that’s exactly where you’re meant to be.
.
……All the laundry that can be dried outside on the line on a hot day. (And being able to bring it inside to dry when you forget it outside overnight and it gets rained on.)
.
…Jeff getting more lettuce starts planted while I spread mulch in the garden and Bracken was busily worked on his own garden projects. Even if our time is brief when we pop out to work in the garden in the evenings, that bit of time is something we all enjoy so much.
.
…Seeing the baby birds at the landscaping store when we did because when we went back to see them again they were gone. It was sad and made me even more grateful we got to see them.
.
…My friend handing me a stack of egg cartons, which she knows we can always use.
.
…Rain coming to water the garden when it was in need of a deep watering. (And when we were especially busy packing and getting everything ready for the festival.)
.
…Heartwarming movies that add a little glow to the end of your day.
.
…Spending days surrounded by yarn (love) and admiring all the lovely shawls and handknits being worn by people everywhere.
.
…One more day of the Black Sheep Gathering for us to enjoy. Here we go!
