{ G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition.
A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Seeing so many little green blueberries on our blueberry bushes!
.
…Learning more about all the native plants in this area. It makes me feel a deeper connection to the land around me when I’m familiar with the plants.
.
…A warm cup of bone broth after being out in the cold all day.
.
…How happy it makes me to go through my knitting bin, cast on a new project, and pick up an old project to finish up.
.
…Deciding to be true to myself and honestly share my feelings even if it doesn’t make me very popular.
.
…The post office closing later for lunch than I thought, so I was able to mail out my packages on my way to town.
.
…Bracken having some great progress, with sounds and words really clicking, in speech therapy.
.
…Making a batch of kale chips with the kale our friends shared with us. And how delicious the beets were that they gave us from their garden!
.
…Jeff having soup for dinner ready for us when Bracken and I were tired from a long day and very hungry.
.
…Hearing Jeff’s “doll” voices when he plays toys with Bracken. Makes me smile.
.
…A funny show snapping me out of my grouchy mood. Sometimes a dose of humor is just the thing to shift the perspective.
.
…Having the money to buy new tires for our car when we really needed them.
.
…The feeling of my bare feet in the soft grass, while pulling weeds in the garden.
.
…Deciding to stop working and go to bed when I was way too tired to be effective, and really needed the sleep.
.
…Cleaning out my purse, updating my planner, and doing some organizing. (The rest of the living room was a big mess, but at least I got a portion of my world back in order, it was a start.)
.
…Sappy, romantic comedies. I love them.

It’s good to know that Bracken’s speech therapy is going well and producing results.
