New in the shop this morning: two shawl pins (one in western red cedar and one in elk antler), and eight sets of buttons. There are two sets of tree buttons (one in reclaimed western red cedar and one in apple wood), two sets of buttons in apple wood, and four sets of mixed buttons. The apple wood came from an old apple tree on a nearby farm that came down in a storm, there are so many stories behind the wood. Our mixed button sets will forever be a favorite of mine. I love putting the mixed sets together and I love the way they look on the cards. I think they are so fun. As always, Jeff has been busy making beautiful things and I so enjoy sharing them with you!

Oh they are all so very beautiful. I now think of you guys when I see our fallen trees – we have a down apple and English walnut and a black walnut that needs to come down. I walk by them and wonder what beautiful things could be made from them. Laughing – my husband just sees firewood…

Hello Beverly,

They look beautiful worn in the hair, but a smaller one like that one would probably only hold part of the hair up. 🙂
