Holiday Market officially begins today! We’ve been very busy getting ready for it. This year, for the first time, is a guidebook. It’s a nice handy size, includes the dates on the front, and a map inside, as well as ads for some of the artists that will be at the show. You can pick up a guidebook and a directory when you walk in the doors. I love The Wise Elf’s Guide to Holiday Market Success, which is included in the pages. The guidebook is so lovely inside, if you come to the Holiday Market, you’ll just have to take a peek. See if you can find our ad in there!
We were so glad (especially me) to move all our market things that were taking over our house and go set our booth up at the Holiday Market yesterday. As with any festival or event we prepare for, there are always so many little details to remember. Bits and pieces for our display, prices signs for everything, getting the lighting all figured out… but we are set up! And we have our living room and house back. Yay! Over the years, Jeff and I have found it more and more challenging to work from home, because our home sometimes feels like a storage space for our business. We dream about someday having our home and work spaces/storage spaces separate, but for now I will savor the feeling of having our market gear out of the house for a bit!
We will have a booth at the Holiday Market for the duration of the show. You can find us in booth 216, with a big sign that says WoolyMossRoots across the front. We’ve got lots of handmade gifts for the loved ones on your list: wooden jewelry, inspirational wood magnets, ornaments, wood bookmarks, and more! Come say hello if you visit the Holiday Market this year!
