{G r a t i t u d e * S u n d a y :: Sunday’s heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitude.}

Throughout the week I’ve felt grateful for:
…Seeing some of our apple trees so loaded with apples this year.
.
…Daily walks with my family. It’s one of my favorite times each day, when we drop everything we’re doing, and simply go on a walk together.
.
…Jeff turning the car around when we were a few miles from our house so I could grab the knitting pattern I had forgotten. We wanted to get the cell phone too, but mostly I wanted the pattern. (I hadn’t knit for awhile, and had the rare opportunity with him driving, so I didn’t want to sit there all during that drive without knitting.)
.
…Waking up feeling more rested when I went to bed earlier. (I need to get back in that good habit.)
.
…Clearing up clutter in the living room and putting old catalogs and magazines in the recycling bin.
.
…Saying aloud things I was grateful for while we went on a walk. I was feeling off that day, stressed and overwhelmed, and it was amazing how much simply counting my blessings and going for a walk in nature helped bring me back to center. I breathed deeply and thought to myself ‘Yes, I’m overwhelmed today, but I’m blessed and there are so many good things in my life to appreciate.’
.
…Deciding to still go to something, even though we were going to be late from getting stuck in traffic. We didn’t miss much, we had fun, and I was glad we had still gone after all.
.
…People to talk to. And tell things to that I wouldn’t normally share.
.
…Discovering a new show when we had stayed in our hotel room, called Treehouse Masters. It was so fun to watch and inspiring to see what they created each time. And of course it rekindled our desire to build a treehouse.
.
…Trusting that what I need will come in it’s own way and in it’s own time.
